College Tuition- Melaina Grewal

Whether you go to college in state or out of state tuition for college has become increasingly high. Paying in some shape or form is necessary so the school can pay for classes, building fees and paying teachers, but the price for a good education shouldn’t be so high. The amount of money someone has shouldn’t define the type of education or level of intelligence they have.

We all start in the same place and if people are working equally as hard to succeed, they should receive the same opportunity in attending a good college. Although there is financial aid, other families are being drained of money if they don’t reach this qualification or other costs when they go to college aren’t being paid for. If enrolled students are paying such high prices already for schooling other prices such as books, printing papers and food should be paid for with their tuition. Not as an additional cost. This article explains how higher education and tuition work, as well as how the best of the best are weeded out. Giving students equal opportunity will show us who truly has the effort to succeed and lowering additional costs may help more people become educated.
