| Aaliyah Dana Haughton, is a American R&B, actress and a model. She was born on January 16,1979 in Brooklyn New York. Aaliyah began her career at 10 when she was on a tv show called Star Search. In 1994, at 15 she released her album age ain’t nothing but a number, which was produced by R Kelly. Her second album was One in a million. Aaliyah signed a record deal with Jive Records at 12. On August 25th in 2001, Aaliyah died in a plane crash at 22. The crash occurred in the Bahamas. Her death really shocked the industry and her fans. |
