What the Russian invasion means for the global economy – and why the EU should welcome Ukraine?

This article is from an Australian author and how the Russia Ukraine author affects the world not just in oil and gas but in other ways as well. Russia is a major producer of palladium which is crucial to the automotive industry. But back to oil and gas, Germany has been leaning on Russian oil for a very long time and Chancellors have been extremely nice to Russia so that they don’t lose out on the oil but the Chancellor now did to support Ukraine. Russia also has strong ties to other nations that are major producers of oil so trying to break that tie will be difficult. They just want to present a wall against the west so that we cannot control the oil market. But Russia doesn’t seem well off economically but they sure can present some major issues in the world economy.
