In the article, ¨AirBnB Provides Housing for Afghan Refugees¨ (Stuff you should know) I am now aware that millions of dollars donated by individuals in which will be going to AirBn which is an organization used to help people find temporary places to stay either for a night or multiple depending on the situation which started in June 2021. In this case, AirBnB will be providing places for approximately 25,000 refugees from Afghan in which gives them a safe place to stay. Also, it will be providing individuals escaping wildfires, hurricanes, and other crisis. This is very helpful and beneficial to refugees needing a place to stay and to those who are in need of a place to stay because of natural disasters.

Do you think this is a helpful thing for people in need?x

My thoughts on this is that it is very kind of others to donate and make it possible for people to have a place to stay. Essentially it is good to give back, especially to those in need. This is a good way to help others also in situations they have no control over what is going on in this world. This is one of many organizations coming together to help everyone in need.

I love the topic of the post! I think this is really touching and kind of the people who donated, and I wonder if it will have any future implications on AirBnB’s finances. Coming from not really knowing how AirBnB works, I wonder if the people renting their homes will still get paid? In any case, I’m so glad this is happening.

It is great to know that big businesses such as AirBnb help out in urgent social justice issues. I have rarely seen people speak up let alone help out people in need in situations like this.

I wasn’t aware that Airbnb was doing this until I read this post. I think it is awesome how they are using their app to help out people who need it, especially now with everything that is happening. This is a great post. The post was short and simple but got to the point and provided detail. Good job.

Prior to reading your post, I wasn’t aware that Airbnb was doing this for refugees and those escaping other crises. But I think that it’s a great idea that they’re doing this, especially because this is such a big deal in our society today. Seeing the data that you provided makes it easier to put into perspective how many people Airbnb is truly helping.

Airbnb is definitely already a great program, helping people have places to stay on vacation and the like. Using it to help refugees is such a great way to benefit the people struggling, especially in such unrest with what is going on in Afghanistan. I think that finding the numbers and stats was very beneficial to this article. Good job!
